Job Responsibilities:

• Sourcing & Procurement: Source and procure poultry and cattle feed raw materials, including maize, wheat, soybean meal, groundnut cake, fish meal, rice bran, molasses, minerals, vitamins, and additives, for multiple plants.
• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on domestic and international markets to support effective buying decisions.
• Cost Optimization: Apply strategic sourcing techniques to reduce the total cost of ownership consistently.
• Procurement Strategy: Develop long- and short-term procurement strategies by analyzing demand and supply gaps.
• Field & Supplier Engagement: Conduct on-field crop surveys, visit sourcing markets, and engage with farmers for direct procurement insights.
• Operational Efficiency: Ensure timely procurement to meet RM on-time delivery targets and maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to align and execute sourcing strategies effectively.
• New Raw Material Identification: Continuously monitor markets to identify and introduce new raw materials.
• Compliance & Governance: Adhere to organizational values and compliance standards without requiring formal supervision.
• Vendor Development & Management: Expand the vendor base, establish long-term supplier relationships, and drive performance management initiatives.
• Purchase Process Management: Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, ensure payment processing, and drive supplier performance improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate/Postgraduate (preferred) with 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
• Expertise in market analysis, strategic sourcing, and supplier performance management.
• Proficiency in business applications like SAP MM, e-auction platforms, and mobile apps is desirable.
• Willingness to travel extensively across geographies for supplier engagement and market assessments.
