Zonal Sales Manager || Technocommercial || Poultry || East Zone

Overview

The Zonal Manager – East Zone will oversee operations across West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Odisha. This role involves leading a team of 5-6 members, managing key accounts, and driving business growth by aligning with Avicare and Natural Remedies’ objectives. The ideal candidate is a veterinarian with strong techno-commercial expertise and proven leadership experience in the poultry or feed additive industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Achievement

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets across the East Zone.

2. Techno-Commercial Support

  • Provide technical and commercial expertise to direct reports and clients, establishing Natural Remedies as a preferred solution provider.

3. Team Leadership

  • Build, manage, and inspire a high-performing team by recruiting, mentoring, and fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.

4. Financial Management

  • Ensure timely receivables collection and maintain adherence to company financial standards.

5. Strategic Execution

  • Serve as the bridge between corporate strategy and regional execution, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational goals.

6. Key Opinion Leader (KOL) & Consultant Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants and KOLs to strengthen market influence and presence.

Major Challenges

  1. Relationship Management:
    • Develop and sustain strong ties with customers and consultants across the zone.
  2. Team Enablement:
    • Procure and provide resources to meet team objectives efficiently.
  3. Market Penetration:
    • Position phytogenic-based specialty products as trusted solutions in the region.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop teams to exceed targets.
  • Techno-Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of phytogenic feed additives and persuasive value communication.
  • Project Management: Experience in planning and executing business strategies using tools like SFDC.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: BVSc / M.V.Sc with a solid techno-commercial background.
  • Experience: 4-5 years in a zonal leadership role, preferably in poultry or feed additive industries.
