General Manager – Animal/Cattle Feed Sales Patiala (Punjab).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Product Launch:
    • Strategically plan the launch of the New brand of cattle feed.
    • Develop potential markets for cattle feed and establish a robust distribution network in targeted regions.
    • Track purchase and sales of channel partners, analyze competitors’ activities, and enhance brand and market value for New Brand.
  2. Sales Forecasting and Distributor Development:
    • Forecast pan-India sales targets.
    • Identify and appoint distributors and develop distribution channels to establish, maintain, and expand the customer base.
  3. Team Management:
    • Assess, plan, and determine the required sales team size for different regions.
    • Hire and manage team members, including RBMs, ABMs, and BOs, while setting individual sales targets.
  4. Sales Strategies and Brand Promotion:
    • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to achieve organizational sales goals.
    • Plan and execute brand promotional activities to improve visibility and drive growth.
  5. Sales Performance and Monitoring:
    • Achieve pan-India sales targets while continuously monitoring performance.
    • Identify gaps and implement corrective measures.
    • Work towards building the overall company brand image.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Experience: 20+ years in sales leadership roles, ideally within the Cattle Feed, Veterinary Pharma, or Pesticides industries.

Qualification: Preference for MBA (Sales/Marketing), B.Sc (Medical/Non-Medical), B.V.Sc., or M.V.Sc.

Candidate Preference: Preference will be given to candidates who are either local to Punjab, born in Punjab, or belong to Haryana or Himachal Pradesh.

Strategic Expertise: Proven ability to develop and execute robust strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve organizational goals.

Team Leadership: Demonstrated expertise in managing and mentoring large teams (350–400 RBMs, ABMs, and BOs) across diverse locations, ensuring high performance and alignment with business objectives.

Channel Development: Strong experience in building and optimizing distributor and channel networks to maximize market reach and efficiency.

Analytical & Innovative: Skilled in data-driven decision-making and implementing innovative strategies to deliver measurable results and exceed sales targets.

Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership abilities to inspire teams and foster strong stakeholder relationships.
